In 2007 he realized there was to much talent to handle sufficiently on just one label so he created The Valory Music Company with Artists like Justin Moore, Jimmy Wayne, Jewel. Scott has since started a third label with Universal Republic, Republic Nashville, and is now home to some of country’s biggest stars, like Reba, Rascal Flatts, and Martina McBride. The success of those artists and Taylor Swift helped propel the label to the top spot as Billboard’s Top Country Album Imprint in 2009, recognition for being the highest-selling label group on Music Row.
