My past self often haunts me. But instead of hating her, I feel sorry for her. I accept who she was and continue to learn from her every day. I can and WILL own up to my mistakes. But I refuse to allow anyone to hold it against me for their own satisfaction. Unless we are resolving an issue, do not bring up my past and do not try to squeeze yourself into my present life.
