Quarterback Noah Vedral (0:08), defensive lineman Mike Tverdov (7:33) and wide receiver Bo Melton (16:48) met with the media with spring practice underway.
Vedral completed 136-of-221 passes for 1,253 yards and nine touchdowns in 2020, ranking third in the Big Ten with a 61.5 completion percentage. The quarterback averaged 206.6 yards of total offense per game to place seventh in the league.
Tverdov earned honorable mention All-Big Ten in 2020 after posting 40 tackles, 10.5 tackles-for-loss and four sacks. The defensive lineman became the fourth player in program history to record three sacks in a game in the win at Maryland.
A member of the Biletnikoff Award watch list, Melton led the team with 47 receptions, 638 receiving yards, nine touchdowns (six receiving, two rushing, one punt return), 56 points scored and 942 all-purpose yards last season. The wide receiver finished as one of three receivers in the Big Ten to rank in the top six in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
