The Late Night Gamecock Matt Anderson, Phil "Mad Dog" Mullinax and JC Shurburtt engage in a broad conversation about the NIL money in college football plus the transfer portal plus some of these folks that say that they are agents... and then Texas running back Christian Clark committed to South Carolina toward the end of the episode.

Stuart Lake is back and joins Jamie Bradford for a lengthy discussion that takes you inside the current state of University of South Carolina athletics. JC Shurburtt pops in during the first hour to have a great discussion about what Randy Clements may be looking for at the specific positions on the offensive line,

South Carolina gained an edge and lost an edge Thursday as Caleb Herring from Tennessee committed to the Gamecocks and will not visit Texas. Shortly after that happened, Desmond Umeozulu jumped into the transfer portal. Even with that loss, the Gamecocks are in very good shape at the position heading into 2026. Also, more portal tidbits and another good high school Class of 2027 offensive lineman sets an official visit for "Wing Weekend" in June.

Alex Jones is in for Gamecock Smorgasboard and JC and Mad Dog try to stump him with a wild comedy sketch... Men's basketball is on a negative heater... Loads of portal talk about the visitors and what may be next.

Hale McGranahan of TheBigSpur.com jumps in with JB and Mad Dog on all things Gamecock football and some big news from the portal could be forthcoming. Also, the Voice of Champions Brad Muller is in to talk about a gigantic women's hoops game tonight between No. 2 South Carolina and No. 4 Texas at the Colonial Life Arena.

What remains for South Carolina football in the transfer portal as visits crank back up today and through the weekend with the dead period over? Also, some basketball thoughts after a debacle in Fayetteville and a look at a 2027 five star prospect that is extremely high on the Gamecocks.

Matt Smith is back to co-host for the first hour with Jamie Bradford as Josiah Thompson gets out of the portal and will return to South Carolina in 2026. Mike Morgan is somewhere between Kansas City and Northwest Arkansas and chimes in on a number of topics on Gamecock sports and college sports as well.
