Not a whole lot of baseball stuff going on with The Yankees at the moment, there is some and that will be discussed on the show, but I thought I'd chime in on the GOAT discussion when it comes to the NBA this week.

Is it Jordan? Is it Lebron? I'd say the title of this episode gives my answer away at this point. But let's talk about the impact that Jordan had on the game when he played and how his presence is still felt many years later. If you're a LBJ fan and you listen, then open your mind and allow what I'm saying to be taken in with a common sense approach. Let your bias go and just listen.

Not a whole lot going on in the world of the Yankees right now. Nothing happened at The Winter Meetings for the team. Nothing really goin with any of the MLB teams out side of a few free agent signings.

That being said there are a few things to talk about like Jeff Kent getting into the HOF, Yankees fans being spoiled and more. Oh and the talk of a possible Jazz trade. I'll give my thoughts on what might happen with that.

Winter meetings are starting today so let's hope that The Yankees make some moves and don't just sit back and let everyone else cook. Other than that, this week I'm talking about Devin Williams signing with The Mets, Sonny Gray and his foolish comments and also Josh Reddick saying that Altuve didn't use "the system" that The Astros had in place during the 2017 season.

As I predicted, Aaron Judge won the 2025 American League MVP. It was close but at the end of the day the right person won. Let's break down what I think happened and why Judge won the award. I'll dive into the NL MVP and give some thoughts about what happened there and also compare the NL award and the AL award.

I'll also break down what MVP actually means, historically.

What Cal Raleigh did this season was absolutely amazing and historic BUT so is what Aaron Judge did. The 2nd part of that sentence seems to be forgotten and not talked about all that much. Judge was able to do something that only 2 other MLB players have ever done in the history of the game. Yet all the conversations that you hear are about Cal hitting 60 HR's as a catcher. Amazing? Yes. MVP worthy? Sure, IF Aaron Judge didn't have the season that he had.
