On Friday, March 5th, President Joe Biden signed the American Rescue Act into law at the White House. The American Rescue Plan provides $14 billion in funding to help states ramp up distribution of the vaccine and $7.6 billion for health centers to aid the response. During this week’s episode we will take the opportunity to provide you with a detailed update from the last few weeks of work that has been ongoing in Washington and Connecticut. We will also discuss the controlling images of Black women and how its impact affects one monarchy.
