We continue the series entitled, “Destiny,” and see how David, was able to respond to opposition while conquering his enemies.  We find out that we can be minding our own business, but when destiny calls we must answer.  Regardless of the opposition that is trying to detour us, from what God has called us to do.  We must know that if God is for us, who can be against us.

We all go through twist and turns in our lives, some good and some bad.  Even though it may be unfortunate in the way things occur, we can be for certain that all things work out for God’s chosen vessels.  With that being said, today we start a new series entitled, “Destiny.”  In this series I’ll be discussing how God led and kept David, throughout his journey from humble beginnings to becoming the King of Israel.  My prayer for you is that throughout this entire series the Holy Spirit, will reveal to you key things regarding your destiny.

We will begin to grow wiser in understanding and be able to obtain knowledge.  If we adhere to the words of wisdom within Proverbs 4:13 which says, “Cling to discipline.  Do not relax your grip on it.  Keep it because it is your life.”  

In today's episode I focus on the scripture within 1 Thessalonians 4 on how, "God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives."  So I know and I understand that sometimes it may seem overwhelming, and hard to live a pleasing life for God when we are faced with certain circumstances in life.  However, in 1 Corinthians 10:13 it says, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.  God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

When reviewing the full armor of God, we learn about the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness given by the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.  However, if you ever have a hard time memorizing the full armor of God just know this, “Jesus is the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Christ.”

Are you prepared for when the evil day comes?  Well, in today’s new series, “The Armor Of God Part 1.”  I discuss the importance on how we as believers in Jesus Christ, are to prepare ourselves; by understanding how to put on the full armor of God.

Now that you’ve given you’re life to Jesus Christ and are made new in him.  The old is gone and the new is here.  So what does your future look like?  How do you go about handling your day to day?  Well Acts 1:8 says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.  And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  So tune in as I discuss the next steps that occur, after you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

A question may arise at some point in our lives.  What will happen when this life I’m living and breathing in every day is no more.  Well, many people will believe in numerous of things and will explain it to you in depth, but this is the difference with what others will say and I what will say including those in the body of Jesus Christ.  The bible tells us in John 14:6-7 it says, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

So if you don’t know Jesus and would like to receive him as your personal Lord and Savior.  Tune in to this episode and understand how you can receive the precious gift of Salvation in Jesus Christ.

You may be faced with hard decisions, various obstacles, unfairness and other trials and tribulations.  However, in spite of what you’re going through, God has been there with you the entire time.  For his word says, “That he will never leave you nor forsake you in (Deuteronomy 31:6).” So are you going to give up and give in to do things your way or do what others are wanting.  Or will you continue to do the right thing by pleasing God and obeying his instructions even when it’s hard.  The choice is your’s, so choose wisely because we reap what we sow.

Just when we thought we understood normal.  We are now left having to redefine the meaning of what it is to be normal. With that in mind a question remains, “Are we going to go back to what was normal before the pandemic, once everything has calmed down?”  Well physically, it may take a while for things to normalize and improve.  However, spiritually we shouldn’t remain the same when we serve a great and mighty GOD that is willing and able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above more than we can ever ask, think or imagine.  In 2 Peter 1:5 it says, “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;.”  So what will you do with the effort that God has given you?
