We always were taught that put the waste in the bin, segrate the waste so that certain items can be recycled,
but did you know - plastic bags take 20 years to decompose, straws - 30years, your toothbrush will take 500years to decompose, and when you decide to recycle a glass bottle, only a small amount of waste can be recycled, the rest just goes in the landfill and ocean floor to rot for centuries.
