    This FNVA Talks with Dr. Gerald Roche was held virtually on 20th August, 2026 on "Intensifying Language Oppression in Tibet: From Invasion to Ethnic Unity". It was held when Tibetans worldwide held prayers and protest as it marked the 49 day since Tibetan Martyr Lobga Rangzen sacrificed his life for Tibet by committing self-immolating outside the United Nations in New York.

    The talk was moderated by FNVA Research Associate Rinzin Namgyal.
