In recognition of National Poetry Month,, this is one of my poems in the series "Majestic Moments", which express the splendor of sunrises and sunsets.

A prayer that commemorates the sacrifices of those who endured and gave their lives for civil rights, a prayer for this generation and generations to come.

Jeremiah 29:11 is a comforting Scripture... These words were spoken to the Israelites facing evil and difficult times. So are we today. Nevertheless, God offers words of peace and hope.

Mixed emotions are common during the grieving process! But especially during the holiday season when you're expected to be joyful! Perhaps this inspired expression of mixed emotions will let you know it's normal to be mad and sad. Please feel free to share this "HOPEFUL GRIEF" series with others.

Life's storms can be overwhelming! Clouds of disappointment and despair...rainy days that dampens our plans, but they don't last always. Remember the sun is still shining although we can't see it! Stay hopeful and faithful believing brighter days are coming! #inspirationforlife
