“When you grow up, you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world. Try not to bash into the walls too much. Try to have a nice family life, have fun, save money. That’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact. That is – everything around you that you call life was made up by people no smarter than you. And you can change it. You can influence it…Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.” – Steve Jobs
We are all born into a world that already had its pre-existing rules made by the colossus of human thoughts.
“I want to be thoroughly used up when I die. For the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It’s sort of splendid torch which I’ve got to hold up for the moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.” – George Bernard Shaw.
The noisy cemetery is full of lives that were never used up.

This is an unsafe conversation.
A conversation with the self seems to be one of the most powerful conversations in life.
It is popularly called self-talk.
It is a great disservice to talk to self negatively.
“It is going to be bad today. I don’t know what is happening but the day is going to be tough for me” Paul said.

David was invited for an interview at the one the leading organizations in his field. It was a big deal. It was an organization that every young professional in his field would like to work.
It is very unsafe to say it as it is without sugarcoating.
Can I have an honest conversation with you?
Can I tell you the true state of things without sweet-talking you into believing everything is fine?
Can I look into your eyes and tell you the whole truth without being scared of your next action?
The truth is scary to say sometimes or all the times.
Steve Jobs: “Real artists ship.”
Linchpins ship. Linchpins deliver.
They are finishers. They run to the finish line. They complete every project, publish and launch their arts.
Getting things done is the point of difference between an achiever and a dreamer. Achievers ship, they get things done regardless of the challenges confronting them.
