What kinds of things do you fear? Write out a list in your journal, highlight the ones you struggle with from time to time. Most people deal with fear by: 1. Moving away from fear "repression" 2. Fighting it 3. Moving toward it or through fear.

Write out what you fear and ask these 5 questions:

1. (intellectual) "What do I not yet understand?"

2. (emotional) "What is it I'm really feeling?"

3. (Physical) "What do I not yet see?"

4. (inner knowing) "What does my intuitive wisdom say?"

5. (curious child) "What does the little kid in me have to say?"

Feel the fear and do it anyway! (Great book too!!)

Let's ask some deep probing question!

This week our thoughts center around the work of Ekhart Toll, one of my favorite authors, and his beautiful book The Power Of Now.

When we constantly think about the past or the future our energy is both here and there. When we think of another time and living now, we are essentially plistting our energy and weakening it with each past or future thought. But when we tap into the power of now, oh it is fantastic! We allow all of our energy to be in one place. Not in the future or in the past, but NOW.

Like just this morning I was sitting in the hot tub with my oldest son, Kadyn, and we watched the sunrise come up over the Wasatch Mountains, I was able to talk to him. I asked him my question I ask everyday, "What was your favorite thing you did yesterday?" As he was talking to me, I was completely capitvated by his story from his previous day. His eyes were alive, his gestures so animated, and I could just see the joy in his little 7 year old eyes. That my friends was experiencing the power of being present, THE POWER OF NOW.

So here is the tip of the week, try this...

Be present in each moment. When you are talking to your friend, don't think of what you are going to make for dinner. Only talk to your friend. When you are playing with your kids, watch thier expressions. Feel their love. When you do this with increasing frequency a tremendous amount of positive energy will be created and amazing things will happen in your life. Because this experience of life is PRECIOUS MOMENTS, BE PRESENT!!
