I had the pleasure to meet with entrepreneur, author, motivator and coach - Esther van Diepen of “Mom in Balance”.

Mom in Balance is a International company & community for women from all over the world. It accommodates over 8000 women training outside per week, and hosts over 400 staff - contract and permanent. The idea of this business, is that women come together to workout, outdoors. Come rain or come shine, the training goes through. It's targeted at women before pregnancy, during Pregnancy, after pregnancy, and for women who are not pregnant at all.It’s all about coming together in groups, nurturing and strengthening the mind, body, and soul.  While touching base at her head office, here in Haarlem in The Netherlands. 

I had the opportunity to listen to Esther's life’s story. Esther, literally is what she does- she eats, breathes and sleeps her outdoor sporting business. She speaks highly of her team, the franchises, and her husband, who she says, are all, what make the business what it is today. While being this self made entrepreneur, a mom of four children, an author of three books ( Fit Pregnancy, Back in Shape, and Power Moms) a wife, and a developer of all things “personal development” related... Esther is making a picture and a dream in her mind, come to life.... and guess what...? Everyone has the capacity to do this!! Two messages which came across so beautifully in this conversation - Esther lives by. Lawyer decides to make his food dream a reality, starting two restaurants..we find out where things went right and were they didn't go so right...Is it the easy life - the predictable day job, guaranteed stability that makes us grow, ultimately be happy?.. What do human beings need to truly live a fulfilling life? Rikard was a lawyer working in the corporate world. He wanted a life with transparency, so he could easily demonstrate to his daughter what he does in his day! An inspiring life story is not about the details-it’s about the reasons we do things, the connection with self and the understanding of what is important in life. Stunning story about a man who follows his curiosity. 
He uses his creative potential as a vehicle for connecting with other people, honouring the one's he loves, grows, and learns about life. Since Stuart finished his music studies, he has been following a journey of truth. While on a road trip through the Alps, Suede one of Stuart's lecturers, and soon to be, life long friends - inspired the notion, that some people are really very interesting. 

 We get to know about his father, Robert Acker Holt, who fled Vienna just before World War Two broke out, and experienced a deep act of kindness which changed his life forever. 

This being the inspiration behind the book "The Kindness Book" which Stuart and his brother Jason, wrote, in dedication to their father. 

We find out about what drives Stuart, where do the ideas come from for all his creative platforms which he has created. Where is he heading towards? "Take everything you can, try everything you can. Don't sit and wait because you have to do it yourself - You have to go out and find your chances and your opportunities" Marion 82 years old, is a professional Musician and Artist, from The Netherlands. When Marion finished school, she went to the Conservatorium in Paris. After her studies, She travelled the world and played music professionally, until she was 72 years old. paving her own path, creating her own opportunities. Arthritis got the better of her hands. She had to stop playing the harpsichord - which is the instrument she played her whole life. She fell in love with it when she was 14 years old, while listening to Matthäus - Passion by Bach. This was a beautiful life story of how a woman created her own path in life. Marion, now 82 years old, has dedicated her life to her creativity. While travelling the world with her music, she dabbled with her art - painting and ceramics. When she could no longer play the Harpsichord at 72 years old, she turned to art as a career. Today, at 82 yers old, Marion still exhibits her work in galleries around The Netherlands. Marion's life story is one of self belief, courage, determination and the love and commitment with self. Bjorn van Beek started his furniture import business when he was 24 years old.  He imports Authentic Vintage Furniture from India and now he combines all his passions; authenticity, vintage furniture, travel, interior design, and photography. In this Podcast Interview, we find out how a young man of 24 years of age, got to making the steps to start his own business, and from the moment when the penny dropped, what happened next? So how did he actually make it happen? Bjorn, shares how lost he was before he started the business. He was a young guy trying to figure life out. He felt a lot of pressure to make the right career decisions. We find out and feel his energy of his visits to India, and with his little savings, we learn how he actually got this business off the ground. She studied language, culture, and dance; recently married in Tuscany, and has gone back to “the books” and now studies classical music.Stella says, she’d far rather create a life doing EVERYTHING she loves than doing - just ONE thing - as society kind of dictates! I found this idea so inspiring, because let’s face it, human beings are good at more than one thing, we get joy from more than one skill, we are not one tracked minded - we are not just one thing! We are a beautiful cocktail of so many wonderful creative (and linear) talents, and of course it’s our choice what ingredients we choose to throw into the mix of life, but let’s face it!
