Inspirational Journeys: Stories that Matter

This week, Luke Seibert returns to talk about his memoire entitled Never Saw it Coming.

When he was nineteen, Luke Seibert thought he had his whole life planned out. He was a Christian and a carpenter, and everything seemed to be falling into place. That all changed in an instant. When a car wreck leaves him permanently blind, he has a choice to make. He can let bitterness and depression consume him or he can trust the Lord that He really does have a plan in everything.

Never Saw It Coming can be purchased at the following link:

Excerpt:

I had my own set of friends, and if I wasn’t with them or doing college online, I was working. That was life. Though I wasn’t outwardly rebellious, I had my own way of doing things, and I was moving ahead with my dreams with resolute determination. Nothing was going to stop me…or so I thought.

Here’s Tammy Revard introducing herself in her own words:

My name is Tammy Revard and I am probably the only true airhead you will ever meet! I had a brain injury caused by lack of oxygen from a serve asthma attack due to an allergic reaction to mold part of my brain has deteriorated and is no longer there. Not enough people talk about the dangers of household mold and my goal is to make people more aware of how sick it can make people.

I have worked on over 150 award shows including the Academy Awards, Grammys, & Emmys, Super Bowl halftime shows, and many Survivor Finales.

My husband had a double lung transplant. So, I had to figure out a way to find an income, but at the same time still stay safe from covid. I made so many mistakes along the way until I found an amazing entrepreneurial community that helped me breakthrough I became more self-confident and increased my income.

Let me help you find those mental blocks and guide you on how to create your own laptop lifestyle without making the airhead mistakes I made along my journey. If I can write a book and live a laptop lifestyle with part of my brain missing I know you can achieve even more with a full brain.

Jodi Artzberger introduces herself in her own words.

I'm a Christ follower who lives in beautiful Colorado with my wonderful husband, two awesome boys, and rescue pups. I write inspirational Christian romantic suspense stories that are Gospel centered and intertwined with God's love and plan of redemption. Without the Gospel, we're powerless!

I have a passion for the Word. I love to study the Bible, especially with my kids! I'm also a homeschool mom and love most minutes of it. When time allows, you can find me cooking and playing with my latest kitchen gadget. (But I hate ironing and I could really use a laundry fairy.)

I pray my writing inspires, makes you smile, and teaches you something about Christ and His love. Remember, if you can you read, you can learn anything!

God bless!

Soli Deo Gloria!

The Holy Spirit orchestrated today’s audio/video podcast episode. Join me as I discuss how God blesses us with the gift of storytelling to minister to the world, with my special guest, Heidi Gray McGill.

Heidi writes Christian Fiction. Her stories are engaging, uplifting, clean, and full of adventure. Reviewers have commented that her books are “page-turners,” “not predictable,” “spiritually uplifting,” “fast-paced with descriptive prose,” and “beautifully written.”

She enjoys living near Charlotte, NC, with her husband of nearly 30 years. When she isn’t writing, you most likely will find her playing outside with her grandson, scrapbooking, cooking, or reading.

Today I’m so excited to be speaking with one of my all-time favorite Christian romance authors! Please join me as I have a conversation about the writing process, character development and research with special guest Robin Le Hatcher.

Robin Lee Hatcher is the author of 85 novels and novellas with over six million copies of her books in print. Her well-drawn characters and heartwarming stories of faith, courage, and love have earned her both critical acclaim and the devotion of readers. Her numerous awards include the Christy Award for Excellence in Christian Fiction, the RITA® Award for Best Inspirational Romance, Romantic Times Career Achievement Awards for Americana Romance and for Inspirational Fiction, the Carol Award, the 2011 Idahope Writer of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Awards from both Romance Writers of America® (2001) and American Christian Fiction Writers (2014). Catching Katie was named one of the Best Books of 2004 by the Library Journal.

Robin began her writing career in the general market, writing mass market romances for Leisure Books, HarperPaperbacks, Avon Books, and Silhouette. In 1997, Robin felt called to write stories of faith and hasn’t looked back since. She has written both contemporary and historical women’s fiction and romance for CBA publishers (Thomas Nelson, Zondervan, Revell, Steeple Hill, Tyndale House, Multnomah, and WaterBrook).

When not writing, Robin enjoys being with her family, spending time in the beautiful Idaho outdoors, Bible art journaling, reading books that make her cry, watching romantic movies, and decorative planning. She makes her home on the outskirts of Boise, sharing it with a demanding Papillon dog and a persnickety tuxedo cat.
