Only you have the power to control your happiness. You have what it takes to make your life better. But when we have negative people in our lives affecting that, it can be extremely hard trying to focus on what is best for ourselves and when we stop worrying about other people’s feelings, that’s when we are able to advance with ours. If it’s one thing I noticed about depression, is that it is not talked about nearly enough as it should be. Like most other topics, mental illness is one that important to our every day lives that we continue to ignore until we think that it will magically just “disappear” but I can guarantee you that it won’t. It’s not a magic act. It is OKAY to talk about your depression and your struggles with mental health. If I can do it, you can too. It’s easy to say that we regret something when we look at our past that had a negative outcome. I hope you guys do have that ounce of regret because without regret, life becomes stale.
