David Milarch, founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, is an icon in the world of restoration of old growth forests. He and his team have archived and cloned some of the oldest and largest redwoods and giant sequoias in the world, along with a number of other tree species. He has appeared in a number of TED Talks, and has the attention of news media on a global platform, from CNN to the BBC, and has been written up in some of the most notable publications in the world, including The New York Times and National Geographic. He is truly a change maker for the better on this planet to save and regenerate the strongest genetics of old growth trees to help reforest the planet.
