Grief isn’t just about loss — it’s about transformation. Sometimes, it’s not grieving a person… but a version of life you thought you’d have.

“Softness is not weakness — it’s the courage to stay in your body when the world tells you to leave.”

There’s a side of alchemy that isn’t fire and friction — it’s breath, presence, and the quiet courage of staying open.

In this episode, I share the gratitude I feel for where I am on my journey, for being able to hold space for others even while moving through my own work, and for the gift of feeling soft in my own body and energy.

We talk about nervous system regulation — not as the absence of emotion, but as the ability to have emotions and stay steady within them. I reflect on how this work has allowed me to see my daughter’s growth, to receive support from a friend and practitioner who has shown me a new way of being, and to experience intimacy — with myself, with others — in ways that words can’t fully hold.

This is a passionate one....

If we want a different world, we have to start with the reflection staring back at us.

In this episode, I talk about the alchemy of parenting — the truth that if we want to see change in society, we must first change ourselves. I share a triggering moment I witnessed: a mother's horrific behavior towards her small son while her other children and husband sat in silence. It made me think about men’s mental health, and how cycles of pain are passed down when parents refuse to heal. It is something that weighs on my heart. 

We cover:

Why the cycles of abuse and intolerance continue in families

How parents demand behavior they can’t model themselves

The unhealed trauma and the mental health crisis in men 

The motherly instinct to protect

Why being the change doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but you

The choice we all have: perpetuate the cycle of pain or choose perpetual alchemy and alchemize it to become better

Change begins with us — even if it makes us look “crazy” to those still trapped in the pattern. Because if we don’t change, nothing else will.

In this continuation of "The Edge of Intimacy," I go deeper — into the fire, into the shadow, into the parts of me that once stayed silent.

My voice trembles, but I still speak my truth — because love doesn’t require perfection, only presence. This is true for love of self, love of others and connection. Perfection is a fallacy anyway. it doesn't exist. So be real. Be present. Be YOU. 

The edge of intimacy isn't a cliff — it is a doorway into myself.

This episode is about what happens after you meet yourself. When you’ve stood naked before your own truth, stared into the mirror, and begun the sacred work of being honest — now what? You open. You connect. You allow.

I share pieces of my own journey — the words I’ve written, the truths I’ve spoken, even when my voice trembled. I talk about how the darkness is not always a void or a place of despair — but a fertile ground where growth, passion, and deep feeling are born. This is the space where shadow work becomes sacred intimacy. It is where you find your sacred power you have forgotten. 

It’s about letting someone say, “I see you — let me hold you,” and not retreating into the safety of “I’m fine.”
With tears in your eyes, shaking as you hold to your truth and allow someone hold you where you are at and just sink into it, is another kind of self love and trust. 
It’s about standing in your sovereignty and still allowing others to witness and hold your humanity.

This is real intimacy.
This is love, unmasked.
This is the path into the flame.

This is cracking yourself open as the light shines from inside you into the places that once felt isolated and too dark to see in. 

You are the light in the darkness. 

I let the darkness hold me long enough to remember I was made of fire. Now I am reborn as a phoenix.
