On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Tone Pucks is out sick so an also-sick Patrick Moran is solo to bring live instant reaction following the Buffalo Bills complete domination of the Dallas Cowboys, 31-10 in a game the Bills needed to have to keep their AFC playoff hopes alive.
The Bills and Josh Allen did basically nothing in the passing game but it didn't matter. Buffalo ran for 266 yards, including 179 from James Cook in his best game as a pro. Patrick talks about Cook's day, the offensive line opening up plenty of holes and brilliant coordinating from Joe Brady, recognizing early the Dallas pass rush was suffocating but the run defense was vulnerable.
On the other side of the ball, Sean McDermott dialed in a perfect game plan and defensive execution to thwart a Dallas offensive attack that was averaging 40 points per game over their last five.
Like, it's seriously hard to even come up with some "negatives" from this game when it comes to Buffalo--forcing Patrick to get extremely nitpicky in finding any.
Bottom line, the Bills have three games left and will be heavily favored in their next two (at Chargers, New England) before a season finale showdown at Miami that could literally be for a division title or wild card spot. Patrick recaps Buffalo's domination and more on today's episode.
