Insufferably Niche

This week I chatted with uhmaxx, rapper, manager, director, and overall insanely creative guy. His drive and passion is unmatched and he's someone that if you don't know you should know. I think anyone and everyone can and should take a lot of inspiration from this guy.

This was truly an episode a long time coming. I go into this at the end of the episode but it was really only through the TikTok lives that SPERO would do during the World Cup that Insufferably Niche became a thing that I wanted to do. The DAY after talking with the boys on that live (shout out Kirb, Joe, Adam, Aidan, and everyone else that was on that live) I got an email from Curtis who'd be the very first rapper I got to interview. It's pretty insane that now I'm on the 11th episode. Crazy stuff. I have so much love and respect to SPERO. A crazy talented and devoted guy to his craft.

WAKE UP IF YOU'RE UP! The 10th ep of Insufferably Niche is HERE! In honor of that I decided to do something a bit different with this one, and not because the recording got fucked and only recoded the audio. Also correction I was a sophomore when Kanye's "The Life of Pablo" came out. I don't know why I aged myself two years. I really enjoyed this conversation with JOK and this ended up being my longest recorded ep to date. We talked about everything and more and could probably talk for another hour. Repeat guest soon? Sit tight for this hour of insane cool conversation.

One of the first things that really stuck out when I discovered w4ah was he had such a strong grasp on his image. Whether it was his pictures on Instagram or the art on his track covers it felt like I knew him well. In an age where it's felt like most are attempting to portray themselves as alt or "different" what W4ah was doing felt effortless.

Great chat with the GOAT beddyminaj. Fucked up with the video on this one so it cuts off at an odd moment but BEFORE that moment it's a wide ranging conversation that goes from speaking about this term "Irish poo", the way that drugs are influencing young people, and the pressure he has being someone notable in the scene.
