Insufferably Niche Substack: https://devonhunt.substack.com/
In this first ep of Insufferably Niche we’re getting into a scene I've been obsessed with, the Irish rap and underground scene. A scene that though much much smaller than the UK and America makes up for it talent and versatility. So I’m going to be having conversations with artists, fans, and everyone in between about what drove them to the scene, what keeps them invested, and a chance to finally figure out what’s happening right now that’s making me someone 5,180 miles (8,338 km) away from Dublin obsessed. The music is the music but it's the artists creating the tracks, the fans listening to the music, and the venues hosting the events who create the niche, the subculture. It's through speaking with those people that we can find an an answer to what it means to be insufferably niche.
