Today we’re going to discuss the challenges of making integrative health care accessible to the medically underserved with Mikhail Kogan, MD, founder and chairman of the board of AIM Health Institute.

AIM is the first non-profit organization in the DC metropolitan area to provides Integrative Medicine services to low-income and terminally ill patients regardless of their ability to pay. It seeks to educate the public and healthcare professionals about Integrative Medicine. And empower people by providing them with self-care tools.

Dr. Kogan is an assistant professor of medicine and associate director of the Integrative Geriatric Fellowship here at GW, director of Integrative Medicine Track, and medical director of the GW Center for Integrative Medicine.
