Today, we're sharing an announcement from Lauren on the end of Bucks County By Night, and our (hopefully temporary) hiatus on new episodes.     Elias and Lillian hog the spotlight in this episode, meeting up at her house where she is hosting a party. Lillian leads Elias to a more intimate setting where they can chat. A lot has happened since they last spoke, and Elias has some updates. While he was clearly planning on sharing some of what he's learned, Lillian turns up the charm to get him to spill everything.

    Solomon plays a haunting voicemail from Elaine, recorded just before her murder. The message hints at a cryptic package she sent to Solomon, one he's been concealing and hasn't opened yet. Solomon's guest, the nun, believes the murder may revolve around an ancient artifact containing great power! Could that be what's in the package? Also, what frowned upon word does Elias learn he needs to scrub from his vocabulary? And will he make it to his meeting with Lillian?

    Our Kindred travel back to Solomon's shop for their midnight appointment. But they are unable to enter until they agree on the proper etiquette for opening the door. Inside Lewis and Solomon meet face to face for the first time, and they actually seem to hit it off! Even with a bit of rambling from Lewis and Isaac. 

     

    Elias is not thrilled by the prospects of his potential immortality seeing what long life has apparently done to the minds of his companions. But that is quickly forgotten when Solomon introduces an unexpected guest. Is this new person a friend or a foe? And Solomon shares what may be some of the last words from the murder victim!

  • Episode 189- Bucks County By Night part 8- Dawning Routines
    A new night begins with Elias waking up from his sleepover at Isaac's place. He may have had to crash in a really morbid setting, but at least he got the top bunk! And even better, there's leftover clothes to try on from all the bodies that have passed through the morgue! Elias however is not enthusiastic about that.
     
    Lewis checks in on his herd before doing any other disgusting things a Nosferatu does to start their day. The party then makes a plan to follow up with Solomon. They don't want to show up empty handed! And Lewis reaches out to his buddy Hendricks in what may be one of the worst phone calls ever.
     
    What other daily vampire routines will we get some insight into? And how many times will Mike forget Ben's character name in one episode?

    Hey everyone! You'll notice in this episode that Kyle was not able to join us due to other obligations. At the time we were unsure of the length of his absence so we danced around it in the episode. As of the release of this he has still been unable to rejoin us so we wanted to make sure you are aware that the character of Dart will be out of the story going forward. We hope Kyle is able to come back in the future but for now the cast will be Mike, Leach and Ben with Lauren as the storyteller. Thanks for listening!

    The mission to stealthily break into Solomon's shop and search for clues to his connection to the murder victim Elaine is not off to a good start! Dart has gone into a full rage in bear mode, climbing up electric poles and scaring bystanders. It's up to Isaac to turn on his vampiric charm and bring Dart back down to his normal, only slightly grumpy animalistic self! Thankfully there's also time for Lewis to drop some bear puns as well.

     

    Seeing that sneaking up to the shop is no longer an option, Elias takes some initiative and gives up on breaking in quietly. However it quickly becomes apparent that Solomon is more than prepared to deal with unwelcome guests, which leads to tense negotiations!

    Concluding their unexpected meeting with August Crane and Lewis's friend H, the kindred head out to continue their murder investigation. After they explore the area around the odd pyramid August calls home that is. Which almost leads to one of the team dying a very stupid true death. Then it's off to scout out the shop belonging to Solomon in an attempt to gather more clues.
