after telling myself repeatedly that i wanted to be alone, the universe kept putting farhad in front of me.

but when we're on the right track, the universe has a beautiful way of doing everything it can to light the path for us, even when we resist it.

when i finally couldn't ignore the signs any longer, farhad appeared to deliver the messages that would irrevocably alter the course of my trajectory, in the most beautiful of ways.

over the course of 72 hours, the invisible string of the universe brought me from mourning my uncle in a rice field to sitting in kirtan crying to connecting to a complete stranger to having one of those friendships and interactions that remind us that traveling opens the portals, we just need to step through them.
