In this bonus #pride month episode we discuss what's sticking to our ribs from "Getting to know Chaelin Akali Ortiz"
We talk about inclusiveness, safe space, and how asking questions is ok.
We are so proud of this platform in which we give people a space where they feel comfortable enough to share very uncomfortable things in hopes of changing the world one head (as in mind) at a time!
This episode is brought to you by Lola hair and soul, a physical and virtual platform dedicated to helping you look and feel your very best. Visit Lolahairandsoul.com to learn how you can be part of changing the world one head at a time.

In this episode Kathryn gets to know Chaelin. This candid conversation is meant to help open the mind and hearts of those that want to be more understanding to those transitioning.
Intentionally Lola gave Chaelin a safe space to share their story about the emotional journey of coming out to their family. They share the emotional turmoil as well as the love and acceptance they've had.
We discuss the use of pronouns, deadnames, the power of asking questions and inquiring, and choosing a new name honorably.
