Interesting ideas with Stan Hustad

Please note these words and write them down and see if you can begin to use them. Adversity Audacity. Adventure. Aspirations, Imagination, finally Termination. I have some thoughts about this that might just help us to be less focused on the mess and more focused and how we become strong brave and bold inside ourselves.

I remember two mentors ... One said that once you overcome your fear of death you can overcome any other here .. And the very wise woman who I was in conversation with about some mutual difficulties, simply paused and looked me straight in the eye and said, But we have today!

It's Friday and the world continues to be in a mess and all over we find people doing things and leadership folks saying and doing things where you just shake your head. Indeed, maybe we are seeing the light go out in parts of our world and they might be out for a long time and could it be that this is a time for you to consider being a light in the night in someway, and there is a way for you to give your voice to others in the midst of the noise and confusion and lies all around us.

Will you give me 15 minutes to talk about that and perhaps issue a challenge and an invitation to be one of the few people in the world who are actually different in a good and powerful way.

It is November 1, which is often celebrated as All Saints Day in which we give thanks for those people in the past who may have a blessed and enriched our lives, and of course to remind us all of our mortality.

Well of course there is a lot of death and destruction taking place in our world today and could it be that as the ancient wisdom used to say... Sometimes there is a time for peace and yet sometime there might be a time for WAR ... And that does not mean skirmishes or conflicts or operations or an occasional strike of violence, but indeed a time for WAR.

Well if it is then things will be quite different in many ways for us and I'm simply reminding myself and challenging myself to understand that I might be called to greater courage confidence, and even more humility and kindness if I'm going to make it through these war times.

And many years ago when the great war began, a gentleman looked at the world around him and said this, the lamps of Europe are going out and we will not see them again in our lifetime,

Could it be that a lot of the lights of the world, are going out now and who knows when we will see them again,

Well the end of the year is before us and it is obvious to all that is going to be a very difficult challenging time to live into work.  War wrecks and changes everything, even the way we live our live, the attitudes that come to us, the fears that are stoked in us and then for us to find a way as many people in the past have defined the things that are important, seek the things that are truly real and see if we find the strength, the result, the energy, and maybe the optimism to live in such a way that we know that in the end all will be well,

Dr. Harold Koenig spoke to our church group yesterday and it was a remarkable presentation in which he demonstrated that faith is the most important thing in our life no matter whether we know it or believe it or not, and that faith and good health, and good living are related in significant ways and that's good news because what we believe and how we behave can affect life health and our well-being both in the long-term and right now,

Just 15 minutes to tell you the story and give you some suggestions that might help it be a better ending to obviously a bad 2023 going forward right now,

 Of course, let's face it everybody wants to be a winner, nobody wants to be a loser. But I wonder if that's such a good idea.  Remember this great truth, life is difficult, heart, and adversity is often part of the plan... And often true transformation comes through a great love or perhaps even more often, a great suffering,

So on this Wednesday in which the world is truly in a mess do in the most part to our own making, I want to step aside from our usual interesting ideas that will help you become more of a winner with a better life starting now and perhaps take time to realize how important it is and how vital it is for us to learn from those people who are not winning, but what they are doing is giving us an insight into life and character because in the middle of great difficulty they have learned something about the art of losing.

Maybe you or even one of those people and maybe you were the one who should begin doing a podcast about this powerful and necessary subject on becoming a life winner because you learned the art of losing,

I decided today to do a video radio program and with a few thoughts about the current mess in our lives and then a question that is relevant even though very few people pay attention to it anymore. We still keep doing the same thing even though it may not work.

So years ago to get people thinking I challenge them about the value of their résumé and the fact that they should probably throw it away and do something quite different and that a interview will seldom tell you what you need to do or what you need to know. ... You should call for an audition.

 !t's Sunday night and thoughtful people take time to turn off the television and stop watching football and perhaps take a few minutes to think about their life and business and the week ahead.  Well I did that and I don't think we're going to have a very good week, we should probably avoid a lot of the news and the other stuff about a world gone crazy,

However may I take a few minutes, just 10 to suggest a few things from a man who's been long gone but his wisdom carries on and just a few thoughts might be helpful for looking forward and inward to make you better because there's very little you can do about life to make the stuff out there better right now.

So let's try and work with what we can!

Mini years ago I wrote a book about how to sell and market yourself so that you can make more money and perhaps have more fun in life and business.  The book is now out of print and somewhat out of date but much of it still very true... I said this image is not everything but it is indeed the first thing.

And that is true today and it is also one of the reasons that a lot of people don't have the success in life and business that they want

So if you want some help in seeking to be a little bit more attractive forceful useful and connective in the marketplace today, these 19 minutes will be worth your thought and consideration and perhaps sharing with others, particularly some young people, who today just don't get it and I fear that most of them never will.

Listen friends I am one of the sustainer creators of what I call the T9 formula ... Here it is

Tell the truth.   Tell the truth    Tell the truth. ... And when people tell me something that's not true I respond quite abruptly, clearly, confidently and kindly and simply say,  That's not true.

But I am very well known for my idea on teaching how truth works in our world today.  And so I have the reputation that with a twist and may be a little bit of a smile somebody would say, "are you still telling people not to tell the truth."

Of course not but I am telling them something that will be very vital for them if they are in the world where telling the truth is important either in sales, marketing, business ethics, business behavior and encouraging people to change and do things differently.

So let me tell you the formula and the secret principle behind the statement ... Telling the truth is good but seldom heard.

So please let me tell you the rest of the truth and the rest of the story!

Some of the words of ancient wisdom were, "there's a time for everything, a time for peace and a time for war."  Well could it be that our life and business are now I'm going to be affected in some way by the fact that there's a lot of war going on in our world today, and the threat is that it not only will continue but grow.

Obviously the people of Israel, this has affected everything and everybody, but there is a very good chance that this will affect you and your business in someway..l and there's a possibility that you might need some extraordinary courage strength and wisdom to help you figure out what to do. Yes that was a question I just got up, are you still in the business of teaching people that fear kills everything.  I think I am, and indeed there are a number of things that are very fearful so perhaps I can help you, to be brave and courageous anyhow!
