Most of you have never heard about a gentleman named George Muller.  He is well known in Europe and in America particularly for his care of orphans but there was far more to him than that.  Andy has been an inspiration to many people, and in many ways including me.  But once I came across a quote of his that I underlined three times and from time to time I go back to it and today is one of them.  I delight in speaking well of his name.

And so please give me about 10 minutes on this Sunday night when you get ready to meet the week and meet the marketplace do delight in that word.  And may I suggest that maybe it would be a good word for you to use often this coming week. Just an interesting idea for your thought and consideration.

For some reason I would get a number of problem calls on Thursday... It seems that Thursday can truly be turbulence day.  That leads me in to the title of this program. Obviously it dates me but most of you who are of any degree of maturity at least understand the question.  Luciano Pavarotti world-class Italian tenor known around the world for his incredible performances.  The Michael Jordan, a basketball player who often times made what appeared to be super human moves as he would jump twist turn almost go upside down and put the ball smack in the basket.

Well what did they have in common. They had a number of things in common and I'm gonna tell you what they are and then I'm gonna suggest that you could actually learn from them and in some ways maybe become like them.

And then it's my turn to tell you a bit more of my story about the time in my life where one person called me, "a professional nag."  Well what does all of this seemingly unconnected and maybe stupid stuff have in common. Well it will be  value to you so give me 20 minutes on this Thursday evening and I'll tell you the story. I think you'll like it.

 Did you know that one simple invention by Benjamin Franklin born on January 6 and January 17, 1706 saved many lives and still does. Well that story alone should be worth listening to. But then I go onto a little bit of a radio rant about the world economic forum held every year in the exclusive nose in the air retreat city of Davos Switzerland.

They are there in many ways to try and ruin your way of life and tell you that you are wrong, stupid and you should trust them because they are the elite of the world.  In fact in many ways they are moral, spiritual, intellectual eunuchs. 

But even though they lack good ideas and personal power they have been put in charge of powerful organizations.  And of course it was so important to talk about fighting climate change that over 1200 of them had to hurry up and get there in their private jets. 

So obviously you get the jest of my little radio rant, but it leads me to a positive note and it is a simple but interesting idea, so good and simple that the dummies of Davos would've never thought of it.

 I have to admit it's a bit amazing sometimes verging on awesome.  As I got to know more about artificial intelligence which I initially dismissed and now see that it is very significant and can do many things. So let me tell you about what artificial intelligence might be able to do and then it's new siblings AV. and AA... Today the robots are taking over the jobs from the counter help at McDonald's for sure but there's a good chance that they can take over yours too.

I have an answer to help you figure out what to do and so you need to take time to listen to the 17 minutes today, maybe even request a transcript and share it with lots of people who could be in lots of trouble as the artificial world moves into the real world.

Often times in my reflections about life and the circumstances in the situation we are in, I remember the old song, "the saddest words of tongue or pen art these three words.  It might've been".  So today I do what I often do. I wonder what would've happened if Jesus would've lived longer, if John Lennon would,ve lived longer... What is Martin Luther King who died at the end young age of 39, would've lived longer.

I think so many great things might've been done and could've happened differently.  If he had ever run for president I would've voted for him ... And knowing some things that most people don't know that I know about him I have an idea of what he might've done and certainly what I wish he would've done.  And certainly pay attention to my story about the man who mentored the man.  Who was his pastor and his confessor and his mentor. Let me introduce you to somebody you need to get to know and read about, Dr Howard Thurman.

 Just about 15 minutes tonight for some fun questions but guess what you'll learn a lot by just thinking about some of the questions and stories as you relax this Sunday evening and perhaps take some time to think about how you're going to be ready, Full blast ready to meet the marketplace on Monday.

I want to talk to you about the importance of the first scene in any movie and there's a very good reason that you have to spend a lot of time and energy deciding what will be the very first thing that people see and hear and experience in the story they are about to tell.  They even have a name for it, and then as I usually do, a spin off and segue into all kinds of other stuff some of it fun some of it trivial and some of it vital. You can decide.,

 I often say the day Thursday will be the day that you probably have a little bit of turbulence in your life, I call it turbulent Thursday.  Well today I thought I would cause a bit of turbulence myself with a little bit of strong opinion and perhaps some suggestions about fully understanding what might be truly important in life.  

And yes whether you like him or not you can learn a great deal from him. In fact even before he became president I did a couple of very interesting programs about the things you could learn about life and business from Donald Trump.  One of them is very important for all of you. Trump had a television show and he was the only candidate who had any experience in knowing something about how to handle the broadcast media.  

Years ago Dale Carnegie said that to be successful in business you had to learn the art of public speaking. Presently a guy name Stan Hustad is saying that if you want to be successful in business and life you need to know the art of performance broadcasting.  Carnegie was right and so am I.

But in light of all of the Führer about the documents, let me pass on an idea not original with me that Donald Trump might be one of the freest men in the world.

 I won't say the expression on the radio but there it is in print. That is exactly a question that I had the courage to ask  people on a number off occasions.  In my many years of life and over 30 years of performance coaching, many years of teaching and broadcasting I have discovered that one of the most powerful expressions is but I gave my word.  And unfortunately today a lot of people just do not keep their word.

And also I have learned this great truth that you need to understand in our world today. You cannot not communicate.  That's correct.  You may not speak to me, you may ignore me, you may do all kinds of things but whether you know it or not you're always communicating.  So if you'll give me 15 minutes to let me tell you the stories and seek to explain this great truth which we all need to understand, even more so today.

 Yes it is a satirical joke put out by one of the most controversial publications around called The Babylon Bee.  If you want to be a skilled communicator in the marketplace today you'll enjoy or get in raged by what they do but you will definitely learn something about the art of communication and performance living.  With it there is a picture of a West Virginia coal miner on his knees deep inside a dangerous coal mineshaft and making repairs so that people can have coal toheat their homes and have enough electricity to live and do their computer work.  And millions of fools are trying to put them out of business and ruin their lives.  

See sometimes interesting ideas are foolish and stupid ideas and we need to deal with them from time to time.  Much of our culture is now corrupt and if we are going to be men and women of character competenceconfident and creativity today we're gonna have to learn how to be different not only by degree but different and kind.  You're going to have to teach your children but it's better to be a plumber who fixes leaks then listening to a philosopher whose ideas don't hold water.

So let's take 15 minutes in the twilight zone and see if we can have some ideas for your thought and consideration.

 ...that is you will have a clue if you'll take 15 minutes on this Monday evening to learn something very important and something very vital to building your business and career and making a difference in the world in 23.  Yesterday we talked about even the fact that Jesus and his mission had to go public and they did that with a very unusual ceremony and with a signature statement and a blessing, a benediction.

Now today on interesting ideas we'll begin with what we call a creative coaching conversation experience as we introduce a whole new idea about the marketing stuff. And we make the bold statement that good marketing today is not about all of the stuff skills and strategies that you have learned and paid a great deal of money for, and for the most part don't work.   But they might work and everything you do might work if you understand the power of what we call = The Marketing Life... Because everything you do and most of what you are is how you market and sell you in the marketplace today.  

And now you will have a clue but there's a lot more to know and do and become truly be a world-class marketer today.
