May I introduce you to an idea that is not only interesting but powerful from Tom Webster.  It would be good for you to take his question about what makes you strong seriously. The world is in a mess and we need strong people with the confidence to speak clearly and compassionately and with great truth. Why don't you resolve to be one of the few who will do just that. This is truly the 10 minutes of clarity for me and for you.

On this Wednesday I want you to get over the hump and a really thump it.  Make your mark come and get it done, do it well and I know that you were effective in your mission for the day.  One of the ways to do that is to think about the ideas in Cal Newport's book, Deep Work ... He has lots of good ideas and I'm going to share one with you called the 5 o'clock club, and then I will add a nice little note by saying, and listen to the song of the 5:30 Bird.

At its worst it can be a JE, a Judas Event, and that is what happened at the US Supreme Court yesterday.  It was a Judas event among the Judges, in that somebody betrayed a confidence.  They didn't do what they said they would do, and in fact even worse they did just the opposite.  But let the pundits work that out, with your permission may I take a little over 10 minutes to remind you of an interesting idea that you need to put in place in your life and in your business, and then say to people who are with you and for you, "This is very important to me". Here's the story.

That's a fun and interesting idea. The old Miranda warning is still given the suspects and criminals when they are arrested... You have the right to remain silent.  But as one of my friends on television says, "Yes I have the right to remain silent but I don't have the ability,"  What does that mean, and may I in these 15 minute challenge you not to remain silent and now use the new opportunity to speak your truth tell your story and share your wisdom with others. Don't be silent... Unless, there is a good reason to remain silent and we'll talk about that too.  Nothing too heavy but a good idea for your thought and consideration.   Thanks,

This is a day that is usually given to celebration after all this is May Day... And of course there's not a whole lot to celebrate and last night it was even worse I have millions of fans and many people who just admired or discovered the sad news of the death in the world famous JUDD Family.  And she was only 76 and the cause of death was mental illness. Well in the midst of my thoughts I couldn't help but wonder what does that mean, so here are just a few thoughts and I'd love to hear your thoughts..

 Even if you don't care about football and I don't anymore, I was reminded that the NFL draft it's an exercise in what most of us do, and we do it poorly.  And that is why the economy is such a mess and why the Covid crisis was so poorly handled by often incompetent and stupid people because they really believed that they were smart enough to predict the future.

So on this Friday is future day let me again say and then share with you a reality check on those folks who really think they can do just that.

When my wife' heart problems accelerated we had to decide should we call 911.  Finally we did and it was quite an evening, and that got me to thinking about 911 and they came up with a response ,111. Let me tell you the story then I segued to my past story about Father Mike, the priest who reads the Bible and says a prayer and has over 200 million listeners.  That led me to a little experiment and I'll share the thoughts with you about what happened.

Obviously with such a title I am walking or wading into turbulent waters. But that's where you have to be today. This is an interesting idea. When we say someone's life matters, what do we mean by that.  And unfortunately there are a whole lot of pundits and fools who have no idea.  The important question is does your life matter right now? Give me 10 minutes to see if I can help you as I try and help myself figure out what is truly important and what does it matter in the world today.

 yes you can learn a lot today if you're serious and pay attention. First I'm gonna tell you about the podcasting priest who has over 200 million listeners who just read the Bible and says a prayer.  How can that be?  Listen to the story. And then let me tell you a story of an intern that I had who always dressed up for a class with class. She was very successful and many of your fellow students did not like her, and even hated that she looked so nice.  Another story full of interesting ideas for your thought and consideration on this Monday evening.
