I now live in the land of cactus copper cotton and Cowboys. And in doing so I've become much more acquainted with the cowboy legend and the reality of the cowboy experience both in the past and in the very present today. And so with a touch of imagination and a little bit of freedom as a radio communicator, may I play some music and share some musings about those people I call, Christmas Cowboys; they were entrepreneurs, And perhaps some thoughts about what it might mean for us today as modern 21st-century creator entrepreneurs.
Yes, he or she may have helped save the world. We don't know who they are or just exactly what they did. But on that Christmas night when a poor couple stumbled into Bethlehem trying to find a place to stay and perhaps even a way in a place to give birth to a baby. They were there. As we know there was no place for them in the inn. But some creator entrepreneur somehow found a way to make it possible for a place to be found in for a birthplace for the very savior of the universe to make his appearance and entrance. Today I want to salute that person and tell you a story about how he/she can even affect you as a creator entrepreneur.
I will leave and invite you to make a significant business decision and for 2021 appoint your CHO, your Chief Hospitality Officer. This is quite a story. It's only 16 minutes long and you don't want to miss it. Here it is
This is character number two in our series and the people of the Christmas story. John the baptizer was the man who came before Jesus and gave voice to him and his mission. But is there more to the story. Would you allow me to use my disc jockey imagination and my sense of storytelling and see if I can make a case for a remarkable young friendship. And John the baptizer truly becomes an entrepreneur showing us that we must give a voice to good things and that all good things need a sponsor and a promoter.
This is our #1 star in the Row of Christmas Characters who are true 21st Century model Entrepreneurs. Give me 15 minutes to make my case that Mary is much more of a model than what you have thought or even heard before. This was a Nike attitude combined with Risk Taking and great courage. A 16 year old "girl;" demonstrated more courage and faith than most big tough tall men...But there is more, she is model for the fact that men are called to give birth too. Stay tuned
Thank you for taking some time, just 15 minutes to listen, to one of my favorite stories. It is would you like to be touched by an angel? Obviously it's from a long time TV series of a few years ago, but I believe it has some incredible lessons to learn when attached to the very Christmas story in which there were three great appearances by and Angel. Indeed someone was touched by an angel. Let me tell you what it might be like to be touched by an angel from the stories of the Christmas season,
This is just a few minutes tonight and maybe tomorrow. Indeed Time Magazine blew it.How could they not know that the true heroes of the year are the hundreds of thousands who care and serve us in this pandemic times. They are The People ofThe Mask.
They risk their lives and well-being and they are exhausted. So please listen to my story and then please choose and thank your Person of The Year..And then we close with prayer of Thanks and Protection for The People of The Mask.
Well my friend I promised you that you could raise your hand and be on the radio and my friend David decided to do just that. And he is going to challenge you to finally get to know yourself and discover who you are and maybe could be. This could be the start of your powerful re-invention in 2021. Dave is good and kind but he will challenge you to make your move in 2021.
Well that is a Headline statement, and it is a true statement for the one who said it. And this is salute and tribute to that dear person who said it. And today I just have stories to tell about my friend Deb, about me, and about the brave and bold and beautiful people who struggle with Cystic Fibrosis. And for them I want to talk about their wonderful CF slogan and how that can help us all. it's just 15 minutes that just might touch your heart and move your spirit.
December 1, yesterday is always a bittersweet day for me. May i tell you why and then it leads me both a to great disappointment with some friends and a challenge for me to in 2021 be a better version of me that i was and am. Maybe all this stuff of 2020 makes for a better me and maybe you too!
