Interesting ideas with Stan Hustad

Yes you got the title right that's not a typo or a mistake that's what my friend Hugh said when he told me his story about his ordeal with the terrible disease ALS, often known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It is a terrible disease and one of the worstAnd after reading his story I asked him to take a half hour off the ventilator and see if he could be involved in a brief program, and tell his story and make his request. He has agreed to do that and so please take time, this is very important, to listen to my friend Hugh and his story.

And let's start to do just that.Every once in a while we will all have an opportunity to say something cute, clever, memorable and in fact as I often teach people you should begin to come up with the signature lines quotes and statements.  In fact in my radio world and in my performing persona I'm known for quite a few different quotes and comments that kind of belong to me.  But my good friend and doctor, Dr Jim once said exactly the title of this program. So you'll have to listen to this program in order to begin to find out just what that might mean. And of course there will be more to the story!

No there's nothing really to worry about and she'll be fine but the experience yesterday and going forward gave us a few lessons.

At this mid week in this critical week because they are all critical now, I want to share with you a story that move my spirit and touched my heart. During the time I was a missionary broadcaster broadcasting around the world from the Caribbean island of Bonaire I was soon joined By a man who had been the News Director at one of the large "Big Stick" Stations in America. The WSB station n Atlanta Georgia. And for a number of years we worked together and became close friends. And he is full of stories of all the people that came into his life in that capacity. And when he was just beginning as a young reporter he was fortunate enough to know and interview and I think I can say become friends with Dr. Martin Luther King. The mother asked a little boy what he had learned in Sunday school around Christmas time.  He responded "oh it was about the three wise guys."  Well that is the inspiration for our sixth lesson ...  And how the Christmas characters can be inspiring and encouraging and instructing us to be 21st century entrepreneurs.  Of course it is not about wise guys at all, but just the opposite, what the world needs now is truly wise men and women.
