April 08, 2014 Get a Professional Head Shot to Launch Your Coaching Practice
It’s important to have a good quality headshot / profile picture on your website and in social media. People do business with people – not companies, which is why you should have a great image of you that represents who you are on your website.

Ideally you will get your photo done by a professional on a white background so that it can be used in various situations and the background colour changed. The image size should be as big as possible so it can be saved down if necessary. The one image can be cropped into a square head shot or used as a rectangular image.
You can look for photographer specials and discounts on sites like groupon or in your local newspapers.
If you are doing the photo yourself, make sure you are well lit to avoid shadows. Doing the photo outside is one way to get good lighting. Make sure the background is not distracting and as plain as possible.

There are 2 problems with this question. The first is that science and art are not polar opposites, and the second is with the question itself. In fact what I think people are really asking is – Is there a proven formula I can follow that will give me the same result every time? And Can I just rinse and repeat in a detached manner? Or is coaching something that replies on intuition and sensory perception?
