#Digitalmarketing is one of those #terms that’s shrouded in #confusion and seems to mean something #different to everyone. It’s also been made to seem way more #complicated than it actually is, which is a shame really, as it’s really pretty #straightforward.
So what exactly is #digitalmarketing?
As simple as this is going to sound, #digitalmarketing is just #marketing using #digitaltools.
#Marketing is nothing more than #communicating #value to your #customers so therefore, #digitalmarketing is #communicating #value to your #customers using #digitaltools.
Now that we have covered what #digitalmarketing is, the real question should be, what #digitaltools are available and how do they differ from #traditionalmarketingtools?

Tip 1. Create #connections. Create #connections to #people, #businesses and #communities, to #create a bridge towards your #brand that users can find you from. Reach out, provide a bridge for users to find your #brand from.
Tip 2. Make it #professional. Make #images specifically for the platform you’re using, such as #profilebanners, and #images, and make sure to vet #posts that your #team creates before they go live.
Tip 3. Find your #audience. Tailor your posts, #hashtags, and #generalpresence, around the #audience that you want to #market to. You don’t want to #market your resume-building #website to retired workers, you want to #create a community #connection with the #audience that you find, so that the news of your #brand spreads within that group.
Tip 4. Utilize the right #platforms. While it's #important to cover all bases, it's also #important to find the #platform that fits the best right for you. It’s #important to do this because you don’t want to be putting your effort into a #website or #platform that won’t be providing good returns. You're going to have more luck trying to share spreadsheet tips on #Linkedin than you are going to on #Twitter.

#DigitalMarketing, in the modern-day, is essential. With over half of the world's population using the #internet and an increasing number of #businesses moving entirely online, it is not only a missed opportunity to skip out on #marketing #digitally, but also, in some ways, harmful to #business.
#DigitalMarketing puts the world in the palm of your hand, allowing you to reach #customers never thought possible. This is arguably the greatest draw of #DigitalMarketing and one that is rarely utilized to its fullest extent. Because of the #speeds, it takes to reach people across the world, it's as easy to reach new people as it is to reach people in your area, with the barriers limited to your skills as a #marketer.
One of the crucial aspects #DigitalMarketing has over other forms of #marketing is the multitude of methods that can be used. These include, but are far from limited to #videos, #displayads, #interactivemarketing, #podcasting, #socialmedia #marketing, and #promotionalmarketing. With such a variety of #marketing #venues, #consumers are less likely to experience fatigue, and you can reach users you may not have been able to otherwise.
#DigitalMarketing can also be much more cost-effective. This is because #DigitalMarketing allows for much easier #implementation of #organicmarketing due to the #socialnature of the internet. If a user has a good experience with your #brand, they can make not only spread it with their friends but make posts about it as well, reaching more people with a single endorsement. This applies to the #socialmediamarketing you can #produce, and more. The possibilities for #organically growing your #brand, without spending a dime on #adcampaigns, are endless.

Within the context of #SEM, you may have heard the acronym '#PPC' and wondered what it meant, or maybe you just wanted to know more about it.
#PPC stands for #PayPerClick. This is a model of# payment for #digitaladvertising, where the #advertiserpays a fee every time their #ad is clicked. Depending on the #fee for the #click, the #profit can vary from a net loss to a very generous gain, but it all depends on your #targetaudience, as well as how #optimized your ad is for the #searchengine. #Programs like #GoogleAdwords (or just #GoogleAds) use an #auctioning #system. It works sort-of like this--
Your #ad is thrown into a hat with many other #ads and appears in a user's #searchresult. This is far from random though, as whether or not the #ad appears depends on many, many different aspects, like #ad #quality, and more #importantly, #targetaudience and #keywords, as well as your #bid, and how high you're willing to #bid. While more money may mean more #clicks, this isn't completely the case, as many different factors, your #control can grow the chances that your #ad will appear.

#SarahMcguire defines a #MarketingPlan as a report that outlines your #marketingstrategy for the coming year, quarter, or month. A #marketingplan includes #objectives that explain what you are trying to #achieve. A lot of people have an #idea of what they want to do and how they want to do it but the little #details around the idea make it seem impossible. Many people have been trying to start #businesses and the fine details don’t seem right. Some people have only #managed to have a full-proof #strategy after some years. The following are #important basics that one needs to #master in their #marketingplan.
1. #Targetaudience
A good #marketingplan consists of a #targetaudience that is clearly defined. A clearly defined #audience helps in messaging because when one #develops key messages, they are able to speak to the #specificaudience. To narrow your #targetaudience, a #marketsegmentation is a must because you are now focusing on the four types of #segmentation which include #demographics, #Psychographic, #geographic and #behavioral. Reaching an #audience means that they are willing to listen to you, a good #marketingplan will have to explain why you think your #audience would actually listen to you.

#Blogging began with self-published diary-style entries on #websites but has since evolved as many #businesses have taken to adding #blogs onto their #corporatewebsites. The question for #businesses today then is what #strategies they can use to get the most #traffic. This #blog post will focus on providing helpful tips on how to do so effectively by focusing on five #strategies.
1. #ContentCalendar
Firstly, the most #important step is to gather your team and put together a #contentcalendar as this will allow you to #track and #schedule your #content. This will allow more control of the number of #topics covered, and ensure that #content is published regularly.
2. Create #content with #SEO in mind
The key here is to remember that #blogging has evolved far beyond diary-style entries. Therefore, when putting together the #contentcalendar, the #organization should conduct a thorough #keywordsearch that will drive the nature of the #content and #topics covered. The idea here is to allow #Google to pick up your #blog as relevant when people use that #searchengine to find information.

Have you been wondering why #SearchEngineOptimization (#SEO) is so important and why #businesses need it? If you have, you’re on the right page. As the world has become reliant on the #internet over the years, #businesses have had to put a lot more effort into their #websites and #onlineplatforms. People spend hours on the #internet so wouldn’t it make sense to find the best ways to drive #traffic to your #website?
Why is #SEO important?
#SearchEngineOptimization allows #Google to decide which #websites should be ranked on its first page. The #SEO process holds such great #importance because #Google uses the appropriate methods to decide which #websites are worthy of having a high ranking. The decision is based on how relevant the #website is to a #specificsearch. As users, we almost never click on #Google’s second page to find the answers to our questions, which is why it is so important to rank on the first page. If #SEO did not exist, we would have to go through hundreds of #websites before finding the answers to our questions. Since #searchengines organize #websites from most relevant to least relevant, they allow us to find the #information we are looking for in the fastest way possible.
