- The bindings of the victims were improvised with torn strips from Jill's towel shirt, shoelaces, and underwear.
- Toxicology results showed that all three victims were completely clean, with no alcohol or drugs in their system.

In 2005, a fisherman found the body of a woman in a canal in Jennings, Louisiana. No one had reported her missing. In the following three years, seven more women appeared dead in the same town, with the same impunity. Why did justice not act?
