Today is Intersex Awareness Day, a day to share knowledge and stories from people who have intersex variations and to spotlight the human rights issues faced by the intersex community.

We had a great chat yesterday with Blume about their experience and advocacy, and this morning we are going to share the experiences of well-known Intersex advocate Paul Byrne-Moroney, who we’ve spoken to before here on JOY Breakfast.

Paul was diagnosed with Klinefelter Syndrome at the age of 28 and is a national advocate for people with X and Y sex chromosome variations and he recently had a chat with JOYS Dave Samuel about his journey to finding the Intersex community and what his hopes are for the future.
