Featuring an original score performed live on stage, The Sacrifice is inspired by The Rite of Spring, combining the European heritage of this monumental piece with the uniquely rhythmic and expressive movements of ‘Tswana’ the traditional dance of Botswana. The Sacrifice was at the Birmingham Hippodrome on the 28th and 29th March 2023.
