Landed, Transformative Stories of Canadian Immigrant Women is an anthology of stories written by 37 different immigrant women on their experiences moving to Canada.
Gayathri Shukla, a contributor and a facilitator of the project, joins the show. We talk about the immigrant experience, the importance of connecting to stories for people with different experiences and backgrounds, and what it was like to work with such a variety of people.
A launch party for the book is taking place on September 17, 2022 at the Strathcona Community Center in Calgary. Come meet the authors for a live reading, book signings, and food from around the world.
