Coach Austin Kidd shares his journey from growing up in Livermore, Kentucky to coaching at the NCAA D1 level.

After growing up a Kentucky Wildcats fan, Austin attended UK and rather than being a manager he served as a Volunteer Coach at Transylvania University. 

Once he finished up at Transylvania he landed a Graduate Assistant position at Kentucky under John Calipari. As a Graduate Assistant, Coach Kidd was a part of two NCAA Tournament teams that reached a Sweet Sixteen and then an Elite Eight in 2019.

Upon finishing his master's degree at Kentucky he accepted a Video Coordinator position at Florida Gulf Coast University and was quickly promoted to Director of Basketball Operations.
