Actress Kayla Adams portrays Michelle the space flight attendant opposite Brad Pitt and Donald Sutherland in director James Gray’s adventure drama, Ad Astra. She also appears as a scholar opposite Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson in writer/director Mike Cahill’s science fiction drama, Bliss; she plays the lead skydiver in the upcoming horror thriller, Hex; and in Rogue Warfare, she’s a traumatized middle eastern mother whose entire family is wiped out in a terror attack that takes her life as well. A half-Lebanese native of Mission, British Columbia, Kayla always knew she wanted to be an actress. However, there were few opportunities in her quaint community in Western Canada. After spending six lively months in Australia after high school graduation, she returned and entered the Vancouver Film School, where she began to actively explore an acting career. After successful commercial work, her first television break was The Actress Diaries, a show business television series in which she won the part of a snarky young actress caught up in the complexity of the audition process. One of her first film roles was the part of Kelly the waitress opposite Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool.
