We had the pleasure of interviewing Andy Grammer over Zoom video! Andy just released a new single, "Damn It Feels Good To Be Me", which will be featured on his new album coming out in early 2022. Of the track, Andy said, "I'm just at a point in life where I don't care what I'm not and I'm happy being me. I want this song to be for those who have come to that point in their life where they're just FINALLY enjoying the freedom of self-acceptance." A bit about Andy: he's not your typical optimist. Andy's ability to always look for the good stems from the pain of losing his mother at the age of 25. It broke him into a million pieces but gave him empathy that he wouldn't have had otherwise. He channels optimism in his music and spreads good energy to everyone around him. While on tour (before the pandemic), he had open discussions with his fans during meet-and-greets and on stage where they shared experiences that hurt them the most, how they grew from them and what they learned from them.
