Famed football coach Bill McCartney passed on Friday. Most Mizzou fans remember McCartney for his role as the Colorado Buffaloes head coach during his national title run in 1990, and in particular during the infamous 5th down game. But what many don't know is that McCartney was a Mizzou football player himself on the 1960 championship team. I interviewed him for my book "Respectable Roughnecks" in 2014 and this is that interview. RIP Bill. MIZ.
