Jon is The Godfather to numerous northern bands coming through and was even labeled a guiding light to Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner during their early years. Jeremy Corbyn has introduced them onto stage and is a firm friend (he was also at their sold out show at Islington Academy).
