When we reach the bottom of the hill or pit, do we cry out Jesus I'm in love with you, I want more of you or do we wish the darts don't come close or penetrate hard. Perhaps with nothing in sight nor close proximity to good news, put on your garment of praise, raise your hands and thank God. Though narrow your path, surrounded by large trees and with nothing in sight, raise the alarms and deposit your praise. You might have an undeniable need but hold onto Jesus hand to get you through. May "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path", give you the assurance that when looking back, you see one footprint because God is carrying you, directing you and taking care of you. Habukuk 2:3 says 'For the vision awaits an appointed time, it testifies of the end and does not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and will not delay.' For those growing weary, may this soul infusion warm your heart , thank God, embrace God, draw close to God and as you raise your hands deposit your praise. Thank you for tuning in. Firstly, let's examine our hearts, our situation then prayerfully, ask God for a Holy expectation, a deeper understanding that what we attune our ears to hear and soul and body to listen to, will cut through bone and marrow. To assess, to confess and slowly move the stone of whatever is before you. Who will roll the stone away? What stone in me, needs to be removed? What stone is obstructing you from going beyond the curve? For me the stone of having my laptop conk in and both phones too. That meant no social media no contact but guess what some stones had to be rolled away from me too. You and I are faced with so many stones be it small, medium or large and at most, it looks like we can never roll it away on our own. We have and carry many stones and might even dish out stones. The magnitude of these stones dictate how it affects us, but the important thing is to look to Jesus and aim our steps, our challenges and share. During this wilderness season of not having to be on the Podcast, the stones were not only external but internal. Sometimes the stone is not so bad or intense but a sense of relief to draw you near to Him, to rely heavily and fully on God. Sure there will always be discomfort but only for a little while. For when you look to Jesus, rather than the stone or stones on your path, you will experience the hand of God, you will see life altering changes and that's just the start. So though it may linger, wait for it, for it will surely come. Likewise I patiently had to wait for my equipment to be fixed but during the process God was busy putting me to the test, an assessment of sorts so I give God all the Glory and a round of applause because though I lost some information, some work, His been so faithful to the cause. Are you grateful to God for what's his done and how he brought you through? When was the last time you paused to check on you, and asked yourself, hey how am I feeling? Our emotions is a gift from God and when we give ourselves permission to feel and work through our emotions, that's the time we start healing. It's been an uphill, downhill and everything in between for our Podcast but God has and still is faithful. What seemed like forever, not having to step into the Garden, was a blessing to discover His love, his hand, his fellowship and his sublime. With evident and ongoing technical issues, we could see the hand of God move. During this period it was a process of forgiveness, repentance, deliverance, receiving, speaking, crushing and learning to leave everything to the Lord. For during and in the wilderness season of lack God speaks and no matter the attacks, he speaks through someone, something, a song, and out of the blue to get your attention some quiet time with no distractions mind you. Sometimes all God wants is to see whether you're faithful to take the lead, accept the challenge and to proceed. So here are a few scriptures for you should you find yourself in a wilderness season, thinking where is God, does he still love me? John 10:3-4 'The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice."

John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me."

Romans 10:20 And Isaiah is very bold and says, "I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became manifest to those who did not ask for me."

Philippians 4:13 I can do All things through Christ which strengthens me.

Philippians 4:19 "And my God will meet all your needs according to the richest of his glory in Christ Jesus."

So when you step into the garden of praise, you can experience the word of God through a new lens, fresh anointing, mercy, grace and peace. May the whispers of God, the golden nuggets of God, the Pearls of God rest upon you, inspire you, urge you, challenge you and instill in you that He is the Way the Truth and the Life for you.

Did you know that there is "Power in Giving Thanks?" Meet Jesus in the Gospel of Mark when everything else swirls out of your control. Be grateful in all of your circumstances and thank God, read the word, speak more to God for at the right time the opportune time, He will give you a word, that will calm you, bring you peace so you can delight in him and thank him for seeing to your piercing and pressing need. God designed Mother's different each one with a unique task, assignment and free will. A Godly mother is hardworking. She diligently sees to the needs and wares of her home. We are not called to be perfect wives and mothers but contrite in heart and as we humble ourselves and tasks before God, that He will bless the works of our hands. Through the gift of that 'Special woman, God blesses husbands. Expect Me O Woman is a Soulful insighful monologue from the utterance of God. Mother's day originated with a Christian named Ann Jarvis, in Grafton, West Virginia. She believed that a day ought to be set aside for moms who are still suffering 43 years after America's losses during the Civil War. In 1908, she persuaded her minister to arrange a Special service at St. Andrews Methodist Church, just for bereaved moms. Later Congress and Woodrow Wilson passed it and as a result of this wonderful kind act, Christians have influence on public holidays. Like Ann Jarvis, God showed up, she followed her heart and even though she later protested because it became and to this day commercialized, we honour our Mother's. Expect Me O Woman comes from God. Saying hold on, be strong. 'Expect' is a huge word, connating expectation and hope. Today as we reflect on Mother's, think of the one's who raised you, never bore you, nurtured you, helped you, taught you, cared for you, prayed for you and shared the gospel with you. Think of them who cover you and love you. Think of that beautiful Special Woman today. That Proverbs 31 leading lady in whom God delights in. So to all Mother's and nurturers Happy Mother's Day to you. Know that Jesus loves you and Into The Garden too. In his love and grace.

You could be facing a season of setbacks or cutbacks but whatever your season is, its a pruning season where God is challenging you, stripping you, speaking to you, setting aside whats for you. Though uncomfortable at times and painful, He is making sure that in there is acceptance for you, room at the table for you, working on your character and even if it feels prickly and sore, its springing forth a fruit which is commendable to the fruits of the Spirit, which needs to be reprogrammed, retweeted, reshaped, recultivated to stimulate new growth new birth new dawn from you. So get ready to produce what will amaze others with your fresh fruit. So let us take a step back and reassess where God is pruning you. It may hurt, it may cut like a knife but it will produce something that can be a step up or a stepping stone for something greater which I or you could not foresee. God has not forgotten thee. For all we know failure may even be the catalyst to push yourself beyond your comfort zone to try new approaches when to you it felt there was none.
