MF DOOM known as rapper and producer Daniel Dumile (du-mil-lay)

Originally born in Hounslow, United Kingdom his family moved to Long Island, NY where he really fell in love with rap. Doom was initially a part of a semi-successful rap group KMD (Kausing much damage). KMD was an American hip hop trio active in the early 1990s. During that time Doom went by Zev Love X. It was released when Doom’s brother Dingilizwe, aka KMD’s Subroc, was killed in 1993.

Doom reinvented himself in the vision of Marvel comics supervillain, Dr. Doom, wearing his iconic mask and producing some of hip hops greatest albums of all time

Freddie Gibbs or “Fredrick or Fredtayvious Jamel Tipton” is a midwest rapper from Gary, Indiana.

Gibbs had a deal with Interscope but was sadly dropped in 2006. That did not stop him though. He released multiple mixtapes and worked his way independently to a respected status in the rap game. Gibbs hard work paid off as he is now signed to Warner as of 2019.

About Into the Jawn

From the publisher's feed

In this series, we traverse through the iconic hip-hop universe of greatness. We hop into influential artist(s) entire discography and talk about our views on each album, how the artist grew, and how they influenced us. We are entertainers! We joke around and try to keep things light around here as we review music.
