In Episode 19: The Raven Women, wielding razor-sharp teeth and talons, come for Mabon. There is no escaping them...

In Episode 18: In the wake of a disastrous fratricidal battle and the attempted assassination of the King by his own brother-in-law, Mabon steps up to offer himself as a blood sacrifice to Badb, believing this deed is required of him to save Elfyth from the massed host of the Grayman of Arawn, even now advancing on Modron’s Seat. Thus he is lashed to the Badb’s Stone and left to await his fate.

In Episode 17: In the Otherworld, Mabon is joined by Corvus and they hurry through the hollow hill to find Elfyth in the grip of a furious winter storm, the work of the Grayman. After learning that Goewyn is to be made a blood sacrifice to Badb in a last-ditch effort to stave off the Grayman’s assault, Mabon leads the King and Merlyn to her rescue. But Evnyssian and Cerridwen resist, and a bloody battle ensues.

In Episode 16: A mob of kids, led by Alex, corners Gabe before he can escape into The Woods, where he hopes Ellie is waiting with the silver box. Alex wields a baseball bat and calls for Gabe’s blood. But Sam appears out of nowhere and rushes to his brother’s defense. Sirens wail. Adults shout. Kids peel off from the mob. With his advantage slipping away, Alex clubs down Sam and rushes at Gabe who manages to slip into The Woods. Ellie is waiting! But Alex follows, and the two boys are headed for a showdown in the clearing.

In Episode 15: Beyond giddy and hardly believing his luck, Gabe finds himself dancing with the beautiful Rachel at her Halloween party. But things quickly take a nasty turn when Rachel lures Gabe into a bedroom to make out, then screams for help. Alex and the rest of the kids come running, and Gabe is forced to flee. Now he realizes that he’s not only been tricked, but he’s let Ellie down and broken his oath to save Elfyth from the Grayman. Worse, he’s rocked by a vision of Goewyn paying in blood for his mistake.

IIn Episode 14: After Gabe turns the tables on Alex and Wombat, Rachel Lovet, the hottest girl in Brynmor Junior High, insists that he come to her Halloween party. Giddy, Gabe says he’ll come, even though he risks being late for his rendezvous with Ellie in The Woods to welcome the new moon with the silver box, a meeting both Gabe and Ellie hope will return him to Elfyth to fulfill his oath. But there’s something about Rachel – Gabe just can’t say no to her.

In Episode 13: When the silver box fails to return Gabe to Elfyth, he turns to his sketchpad. But inspiration fails, and the blank page is like a curtain of mist blocking his window onto events rapidly unfolding in Elfyth. To make matters worse, Gabe discovers that Dad is heading up a project to build a recreation center...where The Woods stand. The oak trees are coming down! Distracted, Gabe and Ellie walk straight into a trap set by Alex and Wombat.

In Episode 12: In the aftermath of Gabe's showdown with Mom, he feels emotionally drained and more out of synch with his everyday world than ever. But to his surprise, Mom backs off and even lets him hang out with Ellie until dinner. When Gabe and Ellie discover that The Woods is completely fenced off, they break in only to discover that the silver box will not return Gabe to Elfyth. But Ellie’s got a plan to return on Halloween night and try again. It’s their only chance.

In Episode 11: After vowing to save Elfyth from disaster and death at the hands of the Grayman, Gabe wakes up in the morning to find Mom looming over him, frowning at his nest of sketchpads and pencil shavings. The moment he takes in her worried, overwrought expression, Gabe understands just how close he is to realizing his worst fears of medication and surgery. Even so, he can’t hold back the flood of words that will seal his fate.

In Episode 10: Hunched over his sketchpad late at night, Gabe is drawn deeply into the story world of his new characters. At last, crossing into some boundary zone between waking and dreaming, he enters this world as Mabon son of Modron and learns that he has been summoned to the rugged land of Elfyth to save Bran, Merlyn, Goewyn and all of the people there from a fate worse than death at the hands of a merciless enemy called the Grayman of Arawn.
