Into the Pray

*Translation in this video is edited down to a minimum while preserving some for a beautiful glimpse into Indian culture*

Last night Nick was kindly invited by our Indian friend, Pastor John, to share a word at his regular pastors gathering. You can watch the YouTube video version of this session here.

Paul taught Timothy and the Church to, “…preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” (2 Timothy 4:2)

What would you share if you had to get up at the drop of a hat? This podcast is what, Lord willing, I will continue to say:

All I AM JEALOUS sessions are here.

We are now seeking to establish a truly radical home church; if you’d like to help us please drop us a line here and please consider supporting our work here.

Martyn Lloyd-Jones is our ‘go-to’ minister though he passed away in 1981. The quality of his preaching/teaching is very difficult to find today such is the rising tide of ecumenical seeker-sensitivity. Lloyd-Jones departed from all such nonsense and, rather, preached about such awesome realities as, ‘…the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men…’ (Romans 1:18).

Mairi and I pray that these rough audio recordings (captured in a Skoda Fabia pulled into a remote beach lay-by) will be a blessing to you this Christmas.

Chapter One: The Religious History of Mankind

Chapter Two: Religion & Morality

Chapter Three: The Nature of Sin

Chapter Four: The Wrath of God

Chapter Five: The Only Solution

Dear All,

Thank you for listening to Into the Pray, a podcast akin to a growing library of voice-notes helping disciples of Christ around the world to breach the global chaos of the unfaithful Church...because Christ is coming and we are not ready.

Please don’t forget that if you use the new “text us” option through Buzzsprout (the host of our podcast) you need to include your email address so we can reply!

We would be very grateful if you’d support our work here (or below) and also leave us a review here to help this podcast travel as far as possible. Thank you.

This advent I will be reading Martyn Lloyd-Jones’, “The Plight of Man and the Power of God” as an audiobook for your advent devotions. I trust that this will be of encouragement as we reflect on the deep mystery of the incarnation and the Word become flesh.

You can also see a little glimpse of the closed 800-year-old cathedral that we filmed in yesterday here. Book orders for Christmas delivery (UK) here.

"ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 4TH, 2020, BEFORE ANY SIGN OF COVID-19 OR ANY REMOTE POSSIBILITY OF A GLOBAL LOCKDOWN, THE HOLY SPIRIT LED ME TO PUBLICLY CALL THE CHURCHES OF THE UNITED KINGDOM TO CLOSE..."

Now five years later, with the threat of world wars looming and with Israel's vulnerability on show in the geo-political world, the Body of Christ remain comatose amidst the ramping chaos. It is at this juncture in world and Church history that Nick Franks answers the question,

"Is there really a biblical precedent for God closing the churches?"

Beginning with an exposé of the quintessential Bible verse weaponised to condemn those whose consciences do not permit them to linger within unfaithful churches, and ending with a summons to legitimately radical home congregations as our remedy, God Closed Church is a hand-grenade of a book unpinned and thrown liberally into the apostate landscape of the Christian world.

Consider the missed warning of lockdown. Order your copies of God Closed Church here.
