12/30/18. Fifth Sunday of Advent season, longing for the hope of Christ's coming. During these five weeks we will explore the lives and lessons of the five mothers specially noted in the genealogy of Jesus.

Mary, the chosen earthly mother of Jesus, is amazed at the news of her pregnancy, long before marriage to Joseph. Her scandal would surely bring shame in that day, but God was behind it all. Yet Mary's faith in God is tested beyond the birth of the Child, for she would suffer with Jesus on His mission too.
