Into The River

1/26/20. Genesis 3. What is “the lie” that has ruled civilization since the Fall of man?

» It’s the belief that men and women can be their own god, and live for the creation and not the Creator, and not suffer any consequences.

// Jeff Patterson preaching on Genesis 3:1-24

1/19/20. Genesis 2. In the beginning God created man and woman and said it was "very good." And He placed them in the midst of a Garden, Eden. These are the first people, our parents, who lived in Paradise given. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. He made us for Himself, for delight and discipline.

12/8/19. 2nd Sunday of Advent season. For the next few Sundays we will consider the major themes of Scripture centered on Jesus: who He is, what He has done, why He came, how He will come again, and what it means to trust and obey Him here on earth as it is in heaven. » Who is this Jesus? He is God's only begotten Son, dwelling with the Father and the Spirit before time began and the world was made.

12/1/19. Wrapping up our journey to Joy through Philippians.

// Pastor Jeff Patterson preaching on Philippians 4:10-23 #RenewJoy #PhilippiansPathtoJoy

11/24/19. The Path to Joy bring us God's perspective and promises: we have unity because we are in Christ, we have peace because Christ is near, and we experience intimacy with God when we focus on his goodness.

// Dawson Hunter preaching on Philippians 4:1-9 #RenewJoy #PhilippiansPathtoJoy

11/17/19. Confidence and "status" are the currency of both earth and heaven. And will this newfound confidence make us complacent or drive us forward with Godward ambition as citizens in God's Kingdom?
