In this episode Serious Sam is back to talk about the new Final Fantasy 7 remake which has just landed on the PS4. The remake of the 1997 JPRG classic has huge expectations and we discuss if they have been met. Both of us are more than excited to gush over the new game and we spend quite a bit of time going over this new-old adventure. We also chat about how Game of Thrones ended, how even Serious Sam has problems with Star Trek Picard and much more. So grab your Materia of choice sit back and relax. In this episode of Invert The Why, Super Simon is back to discuss his trip to Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World. We go in detail about his adventure at the theme park and we discuss theme parks in general. Super Simon tells us that Galaxy’s Edge has given him his love of Star Wars back. It leads to a debate about whether or not that’s a good thing. We then move into a discussion on the Nintendo Switch and how that has potentially all Mario games coming onto the system to celebrate 35 years of Mario. We also discuss the fact that Mario is headed to another theme park in the near future. Hosted by Retro Dan with Super Simon.
It’s been a tough year in 2020 so far for obvious reasons and while what we normally talk about is insignificant when compared to the health of everyone and loss of life we have seen, it is what helps us escape from reality. But while being isolated is needed its also caused a raft of delays and cancellations with more to come. In this episode of Invert the Why we go over what’s been delayed and cancelled so far this year. We speculate on what’s going to happen in gaming, movies and sport. We missed many things we know like Faith No More canceling their tour this year to our shores in favour of a better 2021 and much more, but we tried to cover what we could. So sit back and relax as we go over the disappointments of 2020 so far. Hosted by Retro Dan with the DrunknMunky.
In this episode of Invert The Why its Sassy Suhini’s birthday so Retro Dan gives her a call to see how she is doing during these strange social isolation times. We go over her continued gaming on the PS4 which leads us into discussing God Of War and Journey. We also chat about the new Netflix Series Tiger King and why Dooms Day preppers might have won. Hosted by Retro Dan with Sassy Suhini live via Satellite.
In this episode of Invert The Why, The DrunknMunky and Nervous Nathan are back. We hold a intervention for Nervous Nathan over his gaming antics and behaviour. We chat about his gaming history and his current disappointment with gaming. Games we chat about are Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed, Tiger Woods Golf, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Quake, Borderlands, Division 2, Rock Band and more. Plus we somehow get to the topic of the video game crash of the 1980s and plaster fun house in the 90s. We chat about our high and low moments of gaming. We end it with a classic track that's wiggy wiggedy whack. Hosted by Retro Dan with Nervous Nathan and DrunknMunky. This was recorded during Nov 19.
In this episode of Invert The Why, Rocket Russell is back to chat about his experiences with Ouija boards and Ghosts. Retro Dan also tells of his ghost experience and we both chat about our experiences with mediums, regression hypnosis, white noise and EV meters. We talk about the scary experiences of ghost sightings, the intimidation of being read by a medium and unexplained ghost encounters in grave yards. We some how get side tracked and chat about 5G and GMO foods. Hosted by Retro Dan with Rocket Russell.
In this episode of Invert The Why Rocking Rudi joins us for the first time to chat about our memories of pro wrestling from the WCW, ECW and WWF. We go over how they were formed and how they were dissolved all except the WWF (even though they lost their name to the World Wildlife Fund to become the WWE). We then go into a deep dive into the attitude era of the WWF/E and go over classic wrestling characters like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin etc. But we also talk about the 80s wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and the like. We then take a deep dive into some classic matches of the attitude era and finish on the darker side of wrestling in the 80s, and where the WWE is now and the new competition it faces. So grab your tables, ladders and chairs (oh my) or your wrestling spandex of choice and come down wrestling memory lane with us. Hosted by Retro Dan with Rocking Rudi.

In this episode Rocket Russell is back to chat about the F1 2020 pre season testing that has just concluded, which will lead into round 1 of the championship taking place in Melbourne. We go through who looks good, who doesn’t, the testing surprises and the dark horses. We also take a stab in the dark and make some bold predictions as to where the teams sit in the performance pecking order. Its pre season testing so we are more than likely way off the mark indeed. There is also a special guest interview as well. We also finished up somehow with Rocket Russell trying to convince Retro Dan to buy a Xbox Series X at launch which then somehow leads to yet another epic rant, all of which are not F1 related. Hosted by Retro Dan with Rocket Russell.
In this episode of Invert The Why, the Infamous Pedro is here finally. We discuss one of our favourite game series Mass Effect, one of the most beloved sci fi RPG’s which ended in some controversy. Published by EA it was developed by the very respected Bio Ware studio. The original trilogy is based on the soldier Commander Shepard, who is tasked with the mission to save the galaxy from a race known as the Reapers. The first game was released in 2007 and the final instalment arrived in 2012 with a spin off to the trilogy in 2017. So chatting with our friend Pedro we go super nerdy with the lore and gameplay in this classic series. Hosted by Retro Dan with Pedro and Jason Relaxation.
In this episode of Invert the Why Rocket Russell is back to chat about the wacky topic of those who claim to be time able to time travel from the future. We go over some examples and characters who have claimed to have travelled from the future, what they did in their “past” and how they got caught. We then somehow get side tracked and chat about Star Trek and its time travel and alternate time travel movies and episodes. We end it with a “To the Stars update” and move onto Alien Abductions. We start the episode with a rant about modern day phones, the past of VHS vs Beta, Cd’s Mini Disc’s and Van Halen. Hosted by Retro Dan with Rocket Russell.
