Lt (Ret) Tammey Gray served 32 years with the same sheriff's department in South Florida - an impressive feat by itself, but she also served 8 years with the sex crimes unit, which almost puts her on a pedestal. Why? Because the sex crimes, especially against children, are so horrific very few detectives can handle more than a couple of years of it.
