For #InternationalWomensDay we had a very interesting talk with Dr. Christa Hodapp about her first-hand encounter with men’s rights activists, and how that led to her study of the online #manosphere as outlined in her book “Men’s Rights, Gender and Social Media.” The nostalgia, hostility to progress, and entitlement of the men’s rights activists overlaps with some toxic far-right worldviews. Christa is Gender Studies director at University of Massachussets Lowell.
