Tristel Plc (AIM: TSTL), a global leader in infection prevention and high-level medical device disinfection, reported another year of strong performance with double-digit revenue growth of 11% (12.4% constant currency) to £46.5 million, gross margins rising to 81%, and adjusted profit before tax up 23% to £10.1 million. The Group maintained a robust adjusted EBITDA margin of 28%, demonstrating disciplined cost control and cash generation, supporting a 5% increase in the full-year dividend to 14.2p per share. Growth was driven by expanding international demand for Tristel’s proprietary chlorine dioxide chemistry, which offers superior efficacy at the point of care, and accelerating traction in the US following FDA clearance for its second product, Tristel OPH—the first high-level disinfectant designed for ophthalmic devices. The company’s strategic partnership with Parker Laboratories continues to build momentum in ultrasound disinfection, while direct market expansion into Spain, Austria, and India, alongside strong gains across EMEA and Asia-Pacific, further underline the Group’s geographic diversification. Tristel’s differentiated technology is increasingly recognised in clinical guidelines and studies for its effectiveness against HPV and biofilms, enhancing its reputation as a trusted, evidence-based infection prevention solution. Recent innovations, including the launch of VisiClean—a visual verification cleaning foam—and the insourcing of wipe manufacturing, are expected to strengthen operational efficiency, improve margins, and open new cross-selling opportunities. Looking ahead, Tristel targets sustained double-digit annual revenue growth, maintaining EBITDA margins above 25% and a progressive dividend policy through FY2030, with an aspirational revenue goal of £100 million supported by organic growth, new product innovation, US expansion, and selective inorganic opportunities. With strong fundamentals, no debt, and a cash generative model, Tristel is well positioned to deliver continued shareholder value and long-term growth through disciplined execution and leadership in global medical device decontamination and infection prevention markets.
